I have been remiss in not thanking you before now. Perhaps I've been waiting for my back to fall apart again. Great new...it hasn't and I give you the credit!

I have worked with many chiropractors over the years. Some have been helpful, some not so much. I'm a tough case I think. I'm a runner and an extravert. I drive long distances and fly frequently and do everything possible to hurt my poor back. Over a year ago I came to you expecting 'more of the same' i.e. similar treatment to what I had previously received. I am delighted that you took a different route. You listened carefully, provided all the short term relief you could and you got me on a long term exercise, stretching and mobility program. I've been encouraged to stretch before but this time, because of your encouragement, follow-up and coaching, I've kept at it and today it has been several months without pain. That is truly a miracle. And that makes you a miracle worker. Congratulations!

Lorne Shuman is a partner with Isenberg & Shuman, Real Estate lawyers, who acted for my wife and I during our purchase of a house. It was not a difficult transaction, but we were concerned because we would both be out of town on the day of closing.

Lorne indicated that this would not be a problem and gave us a letter that clearly detailed the steps of the process that we were entering into. In addition, he emphasized the action items that he required from us, and a timetable that we were to adhere to. We followed his instructions and, as a result, the transaction was completed on time, and without worry on our part. The house keys were collected by our Real Estate agent, and were ready and available at the time Lorne said they would be.

Lorne Shuman is clearly an experienced real estate lawyer, who provides sound advice and instructions. As long as you follow the instructions and adhere to the timeframe he gives, the work will be done without worry or concern.

Lorne did a great job for my wife and I, and I strongly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a lawyer to conduct their real estate transaction.

For all of my life I have been overweight; not just a little, but a lot. Not one day in my life have I ever been thin. I have tried many different diet plans over the course of my life and yet about 2 years ago I still managed to tip the scale at 309lbs.

It has taken me a year and a half to lose 32lbs on my own. Then I started the Ideal Protein diet plan through your clinic. From the last week of June to the last week of October, to my absolute amazement, I have lost 60lbs! I have literally lost an average of 15lbs a month.

My blood pressure is no longer high. My heart rate is so much lower. My energy level has never been so good! In business, I’m no longer trying to keep up with anyone; they’re all trying to keep up with me! In everyday life I find myself looking for ways to walk greater distances. I purposely park farther away from the door. I take my kids to an empty field just so I can run and chase them. I am becoming the father I’ve always wanted to be as my health keeps improving. And my doctor says I’ve never been healthier.

I am not done with this weight loss journey, as I still have about 42lbs to go. But I just wanted to take the time to say thank you. Thank you for changing my life, and giving me a much better, freer, and healthier life. And if there is anyone out there who doesn’t think they have any hope in losing weight, all they have to do is make the decision to start the Ideal Protein diet. Because special moments are supposed to take your breath away, not walking up a flight of stairs.

This morning I attended the BNI Presentation Skills workshop lead by our Director, Colleen Tripp - it started at 7:30 and was finished by 8:40 a.m.

I have to tell you, I have been a member of BNI since 2005 and have attended quite a few workshops during this time, but at each and every one of them I have learned something new, something that is practical and that I can apply to both my BNI life and personal and professional development.

I also met 7 interesting new people and my circle of contacts has been expanded.

A couple of weeks ago I went to the Referral Skills workshop presented by our own Eleanor Rinne - once again, I took away some useful, easy to implement ideas.

I encourage you all - longer term members and new members take advantage of these workshops!!!

At first I was very sceptical about seeing a Chiropractor. After all my wife had been trying them for years and really no success other than using up all our benefit dollars in a few weeks/sessions.

Then I met Trina. She kept talking about the "pro-adjuster" and about how she did not manipulate bones like traditional Chrio's do. So I thought I would ask my wife to be the guinnea pig and see Trina for a visit.

Emily was VERY impressed with Trina, not only her knowledge of everything Chiropractic, but she was very friendly and fun to talk to. Honestly, after the 1st visit, she thought she felt a difference, and now she is functional and hardly has any back problems. Fantastic work.

2nd part is my testimonial. Trina discovered from my wife that I was asthmatic and had bad sinus problems (life-long). She told my wife that she could fix that with the pro-adjuster. I was not sure how putting that machine up my nose would work, so I thought I would try it out. At first Trina mapped out my spine and showed me the areas where there was misalignment. I agreed and mentioned I could agree with that. Then she showed me on a map of the bodys nervous system, what areas were affected. To my amazement, the areas that needed to be corrected were areas that control the "flow" of nerves to lungs and sinus. After 2 treatments, I can honeslty say that my sinus is already improving and I have used my inhaler a lot less.

Trina is a fantastic Dr and an amazing person. I would refer anyone to Trina, no questions asked.
